Overview

The Scots School Albury has a proud history reaching back to the establishment in 1866 of Albury Grammar School, the first independent boys school in the Albury area. The Scots School was formed in 1972 with the merger of the Albury Grammar School with Woodstock Presbyterian Girls School, assuming the new identity of The Scots School Albury.

The Scots School Abury is a Uniting Church, Independent Co-educational Day and Boarding school that encompasses students from their Pre-school years right through to Year 12 on the one campus.  The two single sex boarding houses accommodate students from Years 7-12 on site.

Our current enrolment of 521 students includes 113 boarding students and 181 primary students, an ideal number for a school which actively recognises and encourages individual development and participation.

Located a short distance from the centre of Albury, The Scots School features an attractive blend of modern and older buildings set in 11ha of extensive grounds.

Sporting facilities include two full sized all-weather playing surfaces for hockey, tennis and netball; a swimming pool, two full size sporting ovals with plans underway for the establishment of a purpose built Indoor Sports Centre on site.

The Alistair Todd Chapel Hall provides substantial facilities for the staging of dramatical and musical productions at the school whilst The John Edwards Theatre (a purpose-built theatrette) accommodates smaller drama productions and lectures and The Cultural Centre provides an alternative focus for the teaching of music and languages.

The modern Information and Technology Centre houses the library and up-to-date computer laboratories, whilst The Warren Howlett Science Centre accommodates a variety of science laboratory facilities.
