ACER on-line applications

The Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) Registration may be completed online. A late fee applies for registrations received after the application deadline date (which is published each year).

The Scholarships examination is held at The Scots School Albury (or at another approved venue) on a nominated date each year. The date for 2010 will be Saturday 8th May.

If you are interested in having your child sit for a scholarship, please register by following the procedure outlined below, no later than Friday 9th April 2010 . Registrations received after this date will incur a late fee.

Details of Testing

The scholarship examination will be held on Saturday 8th May 2010 at The Scots School Albury beginning at 8.45 a.m. and finishing at approximately 12.00 p.m. The scholarship application fee is $100.

At The Scots School Albury we are pleased to offer scholarships at the following levels:

Level 1

Designed for students to sit the test during their final year of primary school for entry into first year of secondary school in the following year (entry into year 7 in NSW, ACT, Tas, WA and Vic or entry into year 8 in QLD and SA). The tests are also suitable for entry into second year of secondary school.

Level 2

Designed for students to sit the test during their second year of secondary school, for entry into third year of secondary school (entry into year 9 in NSW, ACT, Tas, WA and Vic or entry into year 10 in QLD and SA). In NSW, ACT, Tas and Vic the tests are also suitable for entry into fourth year of secondary school.

Level 3

Designed for students in year 10 for entry into year 11 (all states).
