Welcome back to the final term of 2009. A very busy term lies ahead as we fly through the next 8 weeks of learning!! I do hope that your three weeks of holiday time gave you time to rest and to rejuvenate with your family, and you too are embracing the new term with gusto.

E-News the Way to Go

The School Newsletter has been an integral part of our communication and has been a great asset to our School community. I thank Heather Toth for her enormous care and expertise in producing this weekly document along with her team in the Development Office, who have worked tirelessly with you to facilitate communication for many years.

However the time and resources required each week to produce this document have been immense, and so it is time to embrace a new and more efficient way of communicating.

Year 12 Final Assembly and Speech Day Awards

Year 10 students Erin Bourne and Alexina Spinks have received their prizes for winning the Albury Hume Rotary Club's River of Stories writing competition.

Pipe Band Grand Final Report

With a crowd of nearly 100,000 AFL fans, ten pipers from The Scots Pipe Band stood before John Farnham and joined in on the song You're the Voice, at the 2009 AFL Grand Final!

Several years ago the Scots Primary School introduced the concept of Multiple Intelligences to our students. Within the HSIE program a Multiple Intelligences (MI) grid was created for each theme. Students were then able to choose from a range of different activities that would cater for specific learning styles.
