Scholarships

The Scots School Albury offers:

Academic Open and Entrance Scholarships (Years 7, 9 & 11)
Music Entrance Scholarships (Years 7, 9 & 11)
Boarding Entrance Scholarships (Years 7, 9 & 11)
Bursaries (Isolated and Special - Years 7, 9 & 11)

A new scholarship for Middle Years Entry - the MY School scholarship (open to all students, current and future, entering Years 5 or 6) commenced in 2009.

Critical Dates for 2011 Entry:

• Years 7,9 & 11 - Academic, Boarding & Music Scholarships
  Applications Close: Wednesday April 7th 2010 (postal)
  Scholarship Testing Day and Music Auditions: Saturday May 8th 2010
• Years 5 & 6 - MY School Scholarships
  Applications Close: Wednesday October 6th 2010
  Academic Assessment Day: Friday October 22nd 2010

Methods of Application:

There are TWO methods of application:

• ACER registration (online - for Academic Scholarships only)
• Direct Application Request (to The Scots School Albury - for Music Scholarships, Boarding Scholarships and Bursaries)

ALL SCHOLARSHIP APPLICANTS (EXCEPT MY SCHOOL APPLICANTS) ARE REQUIRED TO SIT THE ACER EXAMINATION

A FULL CV MUST ACCOMPANY ALL SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS

ALL SCHOLARSHIPS AND BURSARIES AWARDED ARE SUBJECT TO REGULAR REVIEW

Costs for Scholarship Application:

The Scholarship application fee is $80.00 (This is a non-refundable fee).  This amount must accompany all direct applications made to The Scots School Albury.  (Cheques made payable to: The Scots School Albury)
