BUS TRAVEL

NSW/Victorian Residents
Free bus travel is available for students who meet the following criteria:

  1. Infant students attending Kindergarten, Years 1 & 2 (irrespective of the distance from home to school).
  2. Students from Years 3-6 must reside more than 1.6kms (radial distance) from the centre of the school or 2.3kms or more by the most direct practicable walking route to the nearest gate of the school.
  3. Secondary students must reside more than 2kms (radial distance) or 2.9kms by the most direct practical walking route to the nearest gate of the school.

Applications are made through the Business Office.

CONVEYANCE SUBSIDY

NSW Residents
Students who meet the following criteria may apply:

  1. No alternative bus or train transport is available in the vicinity.
  2. Infant students attending Kindergarten, Years 1 & 2 (irrespective of distance from home to school) without alternative bus or train transport in the vicinity.
  3. Students from Years 3-6 must reside more than 1.6kms (radial distance) from the centre of the school or 2.3kms or more by the most direct practicable walking route to the nearest gate of the school.
  4. The trip is made for the express purpose of transporting the student(s) to or from school.
  5. The student is a secondary student (Years 7-12) who resides more than 2km radial distance from the school.

Applications are made through the Business Office and are sent directly to the Department of Motor Transport.

Victorian Residents:
A private motor vehicle conveyance allowance is granted upon application by the Victorian Government for students who attend the nearest school of appropriate denomination and who reside not less than 4.8kms from that school (not applicable to weekly boarders).  This allowance is administered by the Business Office.

STUDENT ID CARD

These cards are issued to any secondary student aged 16 and over on request.  They allow concession travel by rail (including interstate), bus and ferry services.  These passes can be used for cinema concessions also.

Victorian Public Transport forms for holiday travel are available from the Business Office.  NSW Public Transport passes for travel are available from Administration Reception at the School.
