Regional visits

Printer-friendly version

The Scots School Albury seeks to actively engage with the rural communities it serves, in order to better understand the changing educational needs of rural families. To facilitate this, representatives from the School attend a variety of regional Field Days and conduct a series of dynamic regional dinners within the Schools' traditional rural demographic.

Regional Get-Togethers

The Principal and staff regularly attend Regional Dinners in traditional Boarding areas.  These events provide an ideal opportunity for staff and parents to meet in a relaxed and informal manner with other parents from the region.

Regional dinners are held at Wagga Wagga, Corryong, Corowa, Yarrawonga, Mt Beauty, Myrtleford, Deniliquin, Tumut and Griffith.

The dinners assist families of current students to form local networks, enable prospective parents to find out more about Scots, and provide past students with opportunities to stay in contact with the school community.

Prospective, current and past families and students are all most welcome to attend.
