Food Technology – Teacher Assistant

Part-time commencing Term 2 2018

The Teacher Assistant – Food Technology is responsible for providing direct customer support to students and teaching staff in the delivery of Food Technology, Hospitality and other Technology classes delivered in the Trade Skills Centre and the Teaching Kitchens in the Junior School.

You will thrive on the challenge of supporting the staff and students (K-12) of The Scots School Albury in the full utilization of the Trade Skills Centre and the Teaching Kitchens in the Junior School.

A part-time (24 hours per week) opportunity to work collaboratively with teachers to enhance students learning. Our ideal candidate will have exceptional capabilities in Food Technology, including preparation and recipe knowledge; demonstrated skills in operating sewing machines and overlockers; and a background in Hospitality.  Experience working collaboratively with students in both Junior and Senior school settings will be an advantage.
