We would like to introduce Cinders, a companion dog working alongside our new Head of Junior School, Matthew Boundy, and our Junior School students.

Cinders moved from the Mornington Peninsula and has 3 years of experience caring for elderly and terminally ill patients, as well as 3 years working in a Primary school settingwith students.

Research shows the positive effects companion dogs can have on students as they can reduce stress and provide a sense of connection in difficult situations.

We would like Cinders to become an integral part of our wellbeing program in the Junior School, providing students and staff with opportunities to find comfort and companionship.

Parents and children that have met Cinders, have been very positive about her ‘attending’ school!
