At The Scots School Albury, we place our young people at the centre of their educational experience by providing challenges and opportunities that enable them to flourish as individuals, with others, and within the broader community.

The role is being readvertised. Previous applicants do not need to reapply.

In this role you will support the staff and students (K – 12) in the full utilisation of library services, resources and facilities. You will thrive on the challenge of enhancing young people in their journey of learning and self-discovery.

Applicants for this role will ideally have previous experience and technical skills working in a school library environment, with strong demonstrated ICT and customer service skills.

To lodge an expression of interest for the role of Library Technician / Library Assistant, please provide us with a range of personal details including your current WWCC NSW number, current first aid / CPR details and attach your CV, relevant qualifications, professional registration and other associated documents.

We recommend you scan all documents to be uploaded prior to commencing the registration process. If you are granted an interview, we will need to see original documents. You will also be asked to submit details of referees.

Your application will be treated with utmost respect and confidentiality and will be managed in accordance with the School’s Privacy Management Plan and standard recruitment processes. Your details will only be available to members of our Human Resources team and the Academic and Professional staff within the relevant area assessing your application. If you receive an offer of employment, your personal information will be used for routine appointment processes. Where an offer is not made within 12 months of determination of eligibility, your personal details and documents will be securely destroyed.

All applicants must be eligible to work in Australia, and successful applicants must gain an NSW working with children check before they commence employment.
