Year 8 News

Students and Tutors are busy planning the Year 8 Formal Dinner which will be on Thursday 13th August. Your child should have brought home a letter which outlines the dinner for your information. This is usually a special night for the students and tutors and we look forward to your support.

Each week, students are collecting money as part of our fundraising efforts for this year. Students are asked to bring a donation from their own pocket money. We have been excited to hear how our money raised for a school in Vanuatu has been used to help make books to assist in their literacy program and all our stationary items have been forwarded.

I'd really like to thank all the students who participated in the interhouse soccer competition. A special thanks to Benjamin Taylor, Ethan Erdeljac Nathan Mackay, Julian McKelvie, Chloe Sanger, Alison Heitmeyer, Nicholas Locke and Risdon Weatherall for their special assistance.

Geoff Coughlan again did a wonderful job in supporting the competition and ensuring its success.
