U14 Softball Information

Under 14 Softball (2009/2010 Season Information)

• Training times: 3.30pm - 4.30pm Monday after School at the Stephen's Centre.
  
  • Training starts 26/11/09 and is compulsory.
• Uniforms must be complete each week for competitions otherwise you will not be able to take to the field.
  
  • Uniform consists of sky blue PE shirt, navy School PE shorts, School softball sliders, Scots softball cap (optional) or PE hat.
• Fees will be $105.00 (charged to your School account).
• Games are at 9.00am each Saturday (refer to Draw).
  
  • Participants need to be there at 8.30am for warm up.
  • Please check the Draw carefully for Byes.
• Venue - Jelbart Park, Lavington.
• Cancellations due to wet weather will be announced from 8.00am on radio station B104.9.
  
  • Weather conditions have to be deemed to be dangerous to warrant a cancellation, so in cases of light drizzle play will go ahead.
• Umpiring - all team members from U14 will be required to do a line (base) umpiring duty during the season.
  
  • When required to umpire, you should pick up an orange umpiring vest from the canteen (behind the hill) when you check in.

Please note: there are 14 students registered in this team.  Please see Ms McKeon ASAP if you are NOT prepared to be committed to softball for the duration of the season, as you will not be able to play if you do not attend training sessions.
