The annual Years 3-6 Public Speaking Finals evening is the culmination of an extensive program conducted in each respective class.

To reach the Final and represent your class, the students have to have completed a round of speeches presented in front of their peers. Some classes then held a second round before deciding upon their finalists.

On the Finals evening, the students will compete against their fellow class finalsits with a winner being chosen. The adjudicators on the evening are Mr Dale Zawertailo (Head of English) and Mr Barry Wenke (senior English teacher and former Head of English).

Mr Zawertailo will cast his eyes and ears in the direction of the Years 3 & 5 students whilst Mr. Wenke will be in charge of Years 4 & 6.

Finalsits are required to wear School uniform, however, all other students attending may do so in casual clothes.

I look forward to a wonderfully entertaining and educational evening.

Mr Greg Newbold
Head of Primary
