Wewak School Captains with Scots representatives

On Tuesday the 27th October we were delighted to welcome to our Assembly the Principal of Wewak Street Public School, Mrs Linda Sewell along with School Captains James and Megan.

Mrs Sewell addressed the students and told them all about her school.

Alexandra Pietila presented Mrs Sewell with a cheque for $5000 on behalf of the Primary School, from fundraising efforts that included the Primary Spellathon and other events.

Both James and Megan thanked the students on behalf of Wewak Street and told them that this money would be used to buy much needed sports equipment for their pupils.

It was indeed a pleasure to be able to help these students, and we thank all those who have supported the CSC in their fundraising efforts this year.
