MELBOURNE UNIVERSITY
Architecture & Design Summer School
The Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning at the University of Melbourne is holding an "Architecture & Design Summer School" from 14th-17th December. Cost: $450 (which covers all materials and lunches).
The Summer School is run by a team of experts who have many years experience in teaching and in industry. Its aim is to introduce students to fundamental aspects of architecture and design - as well as providing a very "hands-on" experience, where students will participate in drawing, model-making and digital artwork activities.

SWINBURNE UNIVERSITY
Associate Degree in Engineering
This two-year qualification at Swinburne (Hawthorn) is designed for students interested in problem solving and hands-on practical work. Students study twelve units (very similar to the Bachelor of Engineering course), and four vocational units.
Classes are smaller and more support is available from academic staff through more contact hours.
It's a good option for those whose ATAR is insufficient for the B. Engineering degree, as successful students can get up to one and a half years' worth of credit towards the B. Engineering.
Pre-requisites: ATAR above 60 with minimum of 20 in English (any) and 2 Unit Maths.
Info: 1300 ASK SWIN or see www.swinburne.edu.au/engineering/associate-degree.
