Congratulations to Georgia Star (Year 5) who competed with great determination at the recent NSWPSSA Athletics Championships held in Sydney.
With a personal best of 1.33m to inspire her to greater heights, Georgia ventured to Sydney's Olympic Park with realistic hopes of a top 10 finish. Georgia cleared 1.25m before being eliminated at 1.30m.
Although disappointed, Georgia enjoyed the experience and is sure to use it for further inspiration.
To highlight the incredibly strong opposition that she was up against - the Gold Medallist who won the competion (an 11yo) jumped in excess of 1.50m!
