School Board

It is with a deep appreciation that I announce the retirement of our Chair of the Board, Mr Ian Thompson. Ian has been a remarkable leader who has been inspirational to all who have worked with him. Ian has overseen an extensive building programme and worked with two Principals to ensure the students receive excellence in education.

On behalf of all members of the Scots community I thank him for countless hours of work and dedication to a very important position. We are fortunate that Ian will remain as a member of the Board for the remainder of 2009.

NEW CHAIR APPOINTMENT

Grant Luff has accepted the position of Chair of The Scots School Albury Board and will work with Wayne Moriarty as his Deputy Chair. I look forward to a very positive future with all members of the School Board and I thank Grant and Wayne for their willingness to serve the school community.
