Mr. Greg Newbold was appointed Head of Primary at The Scots School Albury in 2002, having previously held positions as Homeroom Teacher for Year 5 [1995 - 98] and Year 6 [1999 - 2001].
Prior to his family's move to the Albury/Wodonga region, Mr Newbold spent 11 years at Wesley College in Melbourne where he was Curriculum Co-ordinator for Mathematics and English.
As Head of Primary, he has been proactive in devising and executing a variety of assessment & evaluation programs for the School, and actively participates in a myriad of extra-curricular activities.
In 1995 Mr Newbold received a nomination for the Australian Primary Schools Teacher of the Year. In 2001 he was awarded the Outstanding Teacher Award for Gifted and Talented Children Programs from GERRIC [Gifted Educational Research & Resource Information Centre].
Mr Newbold is a member of The Junior School Heads Association of Australia.
