Scots in Space!

| Created by admin

Our Year 11 Scots Physics students, as a part of their astrophysics unit, have been working towards coding STEM experiments onto a Raspberry Pi which will be forwarded to NASA and put aboard the next rocket scheduled to launch tomorrow – 9th December.

Once it reaches the International Space Station an astronaut will attach the module, designed by Scots’ partner “Quberider”, and activate the experiments.

The results from the experiments will be beamed back to earth where our students will be able to analyse them in real time.

Listen to our Year 11 students and their Physics teacher Mr Chris Higgins interview today on ABC Goulburn Murray here!
