Cultural and Global Trips

At Scots we know that academically, schools offer skills, knowledge and learning opportunities that will expose young people to higher education pathways and opportunities that serve them well in life after they leave. In addition, it is as important to encourage our students to expand their thinking beyond the curriculum, foster a love of learning and discover how to be a contributing global citizen.

We are proud to be able to offer students many opportunities to engage with the world outside their daily life, which is important considering we don't really know how the world landscape will look in five, 10 or 15 years’ time.

We are fortunate to have partnerships with schools in Japan and Australia and our students are able to collaborate with, share ideas with and inspire each other to go further and expand their horizons beyond their hometown. Not only do these partnerships offer a good education, they also allow students to belong to a network of young people across the world.

The significant influence of being connected across the globe goes beyond educational excellence and we have been fortunate to have our students involved in music trips to the United Kingdom, Cultural Exchanges to Japan,  representation annually in State capitals and interschool sporting and curriculum days close to home. In addition, our staff has developed meaningful and engaging programs for students through shared professional development opportunities with schools and universities across Australia.
