The Scots School Albury is set on 11 hectares of leafy grounds, a short walk from the centre of Albury. The campus houses a range of outstanding facilities in an attractive blend of modern and traditional buildings, playground areas and manicured sporting grounds.
Our facilities include:
Trade Skills Centre
Opened in July 2015, the Trade Skills Centre was specially designed to enable students from Years 7-12 to learn vital life and vocational skills. It includes a new sewing and e-learning room, an alfresco area for functions and the opportunity for students to practice their food service and barista skills.
There is a spacious hospitality training kitchen, complete with the latest commercial equipment that can accommodate 24-plus students at a time with ease. The building has been designed with accessibility in mind to cater for school and local community groups.
Indoor Sports Centre and Gymnasium
There are no shortages of sporting facilities at Scots. Heading the list is the magnificent Indoor Sports Centre, encompassing two full-sized basketball courts, retractable seating, gymnasium, classroom and change areas. We gratefully acknowledge the support of the school community for this facility, which was opened in 2010.
The campus also includes two sports ovals, a 25-metre outdoor swimming pool, and a full-size all-weather playing surface comprising eight tennis courts, four netball courts and a hockey field.
Alistair Todd Chapel Hall
This large auditorium forms the heart of the school, hosting a variety of significant events throughout the school year, including assemblies, chapel services, musical and dramatic performances, remembrance services, exhibitions and examinations.
The Chapel Hall features a large stage, light and sound facilities and seating for more than 800 people in a range of configurations.
The Cultural Centre houses the School’s music and language facilities. Along with classrooms, it includes a spacious multi-purpose atrium, specialist orchestra and choir rooms and a multi-media room.
The world-class Science Centre reflects the importance of Science at The Scots School Albury. It features five modern Science Laboratories and two additional classrooms.
Information & Technology Centre
This facility includes an extensive and well-equipped library, reading room and resource centre. There is a computer and Wi-Fi access in all classrooms, as well as both Boarding Houses.
Design and Technology
The Design and Technology facility enables students to study Vocational Education and Training (VET) courses, including hospitality, construction, visual arts, and metal and engineering. The centre includes a large open-plan workshop, computer laboratory, electronics room, junior and senior design workshops, a hospitality kitchen and visual arts studios.
