If you are passionate about advancing your career and joining an outstanding school with almost 160 years of educational excellence, we invite you to have a confidential discussion with the Principal, Mark Hemphill, to learn more about the possibilities for you and the advantages of teaching at Scots.

Scots is a progressive, academic day and boarding school renowned as the leading HSC school on the Border. In 2023, 90% of our Year 12 graduates accepted a place at university.

With an enrolment of around 750 students, the School offers a comprehensive curriculum comparable with its urban counterparts, yet maintains an intimate atmosphere where every student is known. We have a well-deserved local reputation as a smaller school, with our class sizes being capped at a maximum of 25 students across all year levels.

Our school offers one of the most competitive salaries in the region, situated on spacious grounds with excellent facilities and resources, respectful and committed students, and the opportunity to align personal passions and interests within our co-curricular program. Additionally, there is a generous tuition fee discount for the children of Scots staff.

This is an exciting time to join Scots as we make significant investment in our facilities. Our new Senior Study Centre was completed in April, and we will commence construction of a new state-of-the-art Junior School later in 2024. We are committed to continuing to improve our beautiful campus and maintain world-class facilities.

We are seeking teachers who are eager to take on leadership roles, innovate within the school's educational framework, and collaborate effectively with colleagues, students, and families.
