Senior School English Teacher

The Senior School English Teacher position has a full-time teaching load, commencing Term 2 2024 (Monday 29 April) is an ongoing position.

This position falls within the English Learning Area at Scots. The collaborative English team is waiting to welcome a dedicated teacher who is happy to show initiative and wants to grow their knowledge and share their expertise. There is opportunity for advancement and room to follow their own co-curricular passion.

Applicants for this role will ideally have:
Qualifications in subject area and Teaching and or Education that allow registration as a Teacher in NSW.
Fulfil requirements as mandated by NESA.
An understanding of English NESA Courses Stages 4, 5 & 6 will be an advantage.
Experience Teaching English NESA Courses Stages 6 highly regarded.

Maintenance Manager

The Maintenance Manager is a full-time ongoing position commencing in Term 2 2024. The Scots Maintenance Manager will work as a senior member of the Maintenance Team. They will be responsible for ensuring the Schools’ buildings and grounds are maintained and presented in a safe and professional manner. The role is responsible for providing timely, skilled and customer focused maintenance (either directly or through engagement with appropriate external contractors). Applicants for this role will ideally have a Trade Qualification or experience maintaining facilities and grounds.

Inclusive Education - Learning Assistant - Junior School

At The Scots School Albury we are committed to personalized learning that will support, extend, and challenge each learner. We seek to guide our learners to reach their academic and personal potential. Students in our Inclusive Education program receive specialized assistance through our dedicated staff, working in collaboration with parents and the pastoral and academic teams of the school. A Scots Inclusive Education Learning Assistant supports the classroom teacher and junior students in their classroom learning. Experience in working with students K-6 and an understanding of record keeping for NCCD will be an advantage. Qualifications - Cert. III in Education Support; or equivalent as a minimum.

This position is 5 days and up to 36 hours per week during school term time plus professional learning days.

Early Childhood Educator - Higher Learning Support Needs (HLSN) - Scots Preschool

The Scots School Preschool is a double unit community-based preschool, providing student centred contemporary learning through the Early Years Learning Framework and the International Baccalaureate Primary Years program. Our Preschool gives children space and opportunity to learn and explore – through free play, directed activities and during interactions with other children and adults.

Our Preschool is an important part of The Scots School Albury Junior School and provides positive links for students as they transition into school. A Scots Early Childhood Educator supports the teacher and preschool students in their learning. Experience in working with 3 - 5year olds and previous experience providing Higher Learning Support Needs (HLSN) will be an advantage. Qualifications - Qualifications in Early Childhood | as recognised by ACECQA. 

This position is initially 2 days per week.

Current Vacancy - Cleaning Team Member

A rare opportunity has arisen for a suitably experienced general hand to join our Cleaning Team on a part-time basis. Our ideal candidate will possess a flexible approach and have previous cleaning experience. Experience working in school settings will be an advantage. This role is required during both school term time and non-school term time, which may include evenings and weekends.

Current Vacancy - Catering Assistant

We currently have a vacancy for the right individual to join our Catering Team as a catering assistant. This position is initially casual hours (3 -4 hours per day) with a minimum of 3 days per week during school term.
