Percy Selected for NSW CIS Hockey — Again!
We are delighted to celebrate Percy Ross' (Year 5) outstanding achievement in gaining selection in the NSW CIS Primary Hockey Team for the second consecutive year — a remarkable accomplishment that reflects both talent and dedication.
Trials were held in Pennant Hills, Sydney, where Percy competed against a strong field of players from across the state. Following an impressive performance, Percy was named as one of just 13 students selected in the final squad — an honour that recognises the very best primary school hockey players within the NSW Combined Independent Schools competition.
The team will now prepare to compete at the NSW Primary School Hockey Championships in May, to be held in Bathurst. This event will bring together elite players from across New South Wales, providing an exciting opportunity for Percy to represent CIS at the highest level.
To achieve selection once is impressive — to do so two years in a row is exceptional. Percy’s commitment, skill and sportsmanship continue to make our School community incredibly proud.
We wish Percy and the NSW CIS team the very best for the Championships in May. Go well, Percy!
