Congratulations to Stirling Marshall (Year 9), who competed in the Musto International Optimist Dinghy Association Australian Championships held at the Royal Hobart Yacht Club from 9–15 January 2026.

In a highly competitive national fleet, Stirling progressed into the prestigious Gold Fleet — ranking him among the very best Optimist sailors in Australia. Qualification for Gold Fleet is a significant achievement at this level and reflects both consistency and skill across the regatta series.

As Stirling continues to develop as a sailor, he will soon transition out of the Optimist class. He is now turning his focus to training in the Olympic-class ILCA World Championships pathway, marking an exciting new chapter in his sailing journey.
