CODE OF CONDUCT
This event will be run with reference to the Equestrian Australia Code of Conduct and Social Media Policy. The Code of Conduct covers riders, parents, guardians, volunteers, and spectators in respect of any activity held or sanctioned by EV or an EA State Branch. This can be viewed atequestrian.org.au/policies. A key aim of the Code of Conduct is to respect the rights of everyone involved, to abide by all EA rules and requirements, to be fair, considerate, honest and professional in all aspects of the sport. Where there is a different rule or approach for this specific event it is stated in this program.
CHILD SAFE LEGISLATION
All Equestrian Victoria Interschool competitions are governed under Victoria’s Child Safe Legislation and Equestrian Australia’s Child Safeguarding Policy. It is expected all competitors, parents, judges, volunteers, and any engaged services to participate under these guidelines.
QUALIFYING FOR 2026 STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS
Competing at this event will be recognised as evidence of participation for the 2026 Interschool Equestrian State Championships. This event is considered a qualifying event for both the NSW & Victorian Championship (dependent on the rider’s membership state).
WELFARE
Please check the dates and timetable for events in the schedule before entering keeping in mind the welfare of both the horse and rider when competing in multiple events on the same day.
INSURANCE
To compete in the Scots Equestrian Interschool Challenge, riders must be an EA member. Horse registration is not required.
